Hi, we're backkkkkkkkk :)

Some updates :)

- BB is now 27m.
- We will welcome a little Dragon this September :x , his name will be "Noel" :)
- Reading is now BB's most interesting thing :) We enjoy bedtime story every night :)

This morning ...

We're still in bed, so lazy on Saturday :), then the alarm's ringing a song "Hello new day". I ask BB to wake up and get me the handphone. He got it.

Mom: "BB, what time is it? Can you see the number on my phone?"
BB: "Yes mom"
Mom: "Read it out loud, my dear"
BB: "Yes, it's seven, three and five"
Mom: "Good, so we know that now it is 7.35am"

Hehe, now I can be more confident to teach him how to see the clock, on phone first, of course :) And then, he will have his own timetable for his activities la la la la

Size Comparison: Bigger & Smaller

Hey, let's see what we have :)

The rabbits ...

... and the carrots

First I show 2 rabbits (the biggest & the smallest one) and ask BB "Which one is bigger? Which one is smaller?".
I also use another way to ask "which rabbit is fatter? which is thinner?", or, "Which rabbit is taller? which is shorter?" :)

Then I use the other sizes

and then the sizes with less difference

After trying with comparison activity, we started with matching activity.
The biggest rabbit with the biggest carrot
The smallest rabbit with the smallest carrot

I selected 1 rabbit and asked BB: "Which carrot this rabbit can eat?", BB looked at the carrots and after thinking for a while, he chosed the correct one :)

Finally, each rabbit had his own carrot :)

Egg matching job :)

Yesterday night we came home late and had not so much time for playing, so we relaxed with "Egg matching" activity.
These nice eggs were made by teachers at BB's kindergarten.

The matching job seemed to be difficult for BB, especially some eggs with same color but different in decorative images, so we tried with 3 eggs first.

When he became more familiar with the eggs, we tried to play with more eggs.

It was 10.00 pm, sleeping time!
So I had to ask BB for finishing the game. But he still wanted to play, and he cried a little bit :) Of course then he fell asleep and cried no more :)

Christmas heart tree :)

We spent our Sunday afternoon to finish this cute Christmast tree & the snowman.

This lovely idea comes from a website I've visited recently. This is quite simple but pretty cool. It made by some green hearts :)

Now it's time for pasting job which BB enjoys much more than cutting :)

The snowman was totally made by MOM :d

Hey, now we have "product" to hang on wall :)
It may need some more decor, and we will do this tomorrow :)

The Juice man :)

Tonight we had a pretend play.
Mr Juice (BB) owns a small juicebar :) He has cups, straws, and "candy" baskets.

Oh, Mom is his first guest. "Hi, I need  lemon juice pls". Mr Juice is now serving :)

He takes a straw, the violet one :)

After Mom finished, he takes the cup and pretend to wash it :)

Oh, now the Juice man is sooooo busy serving 3 guests (Mom, grandma & grandma) that he forget to ask for money. He also give candy for free :D

Now he relaxs with Cups Tower :)

.... and enjoys the lovely flowers from Mommy (made from paper & straw)

"School" room

I always in dreaming of creating a colorful playroom for BB where all the toys and books and stuff are kept in seperated bins and labeled, and easy to take in & out :)
Unfortunately, our room is not large enough (I wish it would be twice larger :P), so I just do some rearrangement.

2 years ago, the corner looked like this :*)

And it has changed like this (when BB was 20 months old):

and NOW

This learning corner will soon be re-structrured :)

I love the tidy look of this corner. I love the joyfullness we have when we do some fun activities together in such a small place.
Let's wait & see how this corner will be in the next months .... :)

HAMA beads for BB

I got this Hama kit from Christmast Bazaar event in Hanoi. It seemed not to be allowed for kids under 2 yo and I was wondered of buying it. But the man (who was CEO of Hama in VN) persuaded me with some reasons, his son first played this Hama kit when he was 2, and it may be safe under parental control :). Finally I got the simplest one - Hama kit for starter - with Panda shape.

Now I only request BB to put the beads to the pegboard, like this :)

He loves to guess what color bead Mom will give him, because I only give him 1 bead at a time :)
He also loves to ask Daddy to play Hama with him.

I believe that this Hama will help to improve hand-eyes coordination of BB. He will also learn to count and identify colors.
